Who we are
and what we collect.
Addnum Global School (also known as Addnum Academy) is the responsible party for the information you share on this website. Questions, access requests and corrections: info@addnum.co.za or 071 991 5359.
Visit requests. Your name, email, phone number, campus, learning stage, starting year, any message you write, and the time you gave consent.
Online enrolment. Details about the learner (names, date of birth, gender, identity or passport number, nationality, home language, religion, previous school, health and medical-aid information, dietary needs), parent or guardian and fee-payer details (including identity numbers, addresses and relationship), emergency and collection contacts, and the declarations you accept. Health and religion are special personal information; children’s information is provided by a parent or guardian acting as a competent person.
WHY AND HOW
How we use it, and who sees it.
Who can see it
Authorised Addnum staff sign in to a protected school-office workspace. Records are stored with our hosting provider, Netlify, in access-controlled storage. Application records stay in that workspace: health and identity details are never sent by email.
Messages and emails
When a request arrives, the office receives an email alert with the parent’s name, contact details, campus and stage only. If you choose “Continue on WhatsApp”, the message you send is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
Other websites
Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp have their own privacy policies. This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies; staff sign-in uses one essential session cookie.
YOUR RIGHTS
Access, correct, delete, complain.
You may ask what information we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We keep records only as long as needed for admissions, the learner’s schooling and legal requirements. Email info@addnum.co.za and we will respond promptly.
You may object to processing or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator: inforegulator.org.za · enquiries@inforegulator.org.za.
Traffic between your browser and this website is encrypted (HTTPS). Staff passwords are stored only as salted hashes and access is limited by role. Last updated: 30 September 2026.
